The National TPAS Cymru Good Practice Awards 2023 is the ultimate platform to share, recognise, and celebrate the incredible work we do with our customers in our communities.


Our initiative, aptly named “Pop Up!” has caught the attention of the judges in the “Communicating with Customers and Residents Award” category. By organising engaging events throughout Bridgend, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting our wonderful communities face-to-face, fostering stronger connections, and rejuvenating open communication like never before. The impact has been incredible, and we’re thrilled to see it recognised.


But that’s not all! Our partnership with the Wildmill Youth Club has earned us a nomination for the “Communities Supporting Communities Award.” Over the past decade, we’ve listened attentively to the voices of young people in our neighbourhoods, working hand in hand to create positive change. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones – from discouraging littering and dog fouling through clever signage design to transforming the subway with a vibrant coat of paint. Our recent planting project is another step towards enhancing the area’s beauty and keeping it free from unwanted waste.
