We chatted with James to find out how his previous experience will help him succeed in this role – and what he’s looking forward to most.
What was your most recent role, and how has it prepared you for this job?
As previous Director of Corporate Finance & Sustainability at Codi Group, I bring leadership experience and expertise in strategic change, financial governance, and organisational improvement.
What are your priorities in this new role?
I’ll be overseeing our financial strategy and leading our transformation agenda, focusing on building our balance sheet strength, modernising our systems, and ensuring we use our resources effectively so we can reinvest directly back into our homes and communities.
What are you most looking forward to about being part of the Valleys to Coast Group?
I’m delighted to be joining the group at such an exciting time. Our ambition has a clear, heartfelt commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives and communities. I’m particularly looking forward to working alongside the team to build on their strong foundations, drive innovation, and help guide us through our next chapter of growth and service excellence!
