Mobility scooters and items left in communal areas create serious fire safety risks and trip hazards. They can even make it harder for the fire service to respond to fires in your building.
You may have noticed we’ve begun placing stickers on mobility scooters left in communal areas giving notice to the owners to move them.
We know how essential mobility scooters are to help you move about freely, but if we see them in communal areas during our regular inspections, we’ll need to relocate them to keep everyone safe.
A reminder of the Rules:
– Mobility scooters and belongings must be kept inside your flat or outside of the building.
– No charging or storing in communal areas.
