To make sure your home, your family, and your local neighbourhood are well-protected for the future, we have been working closely with local councils, emergency services, and community groups.
The Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Services Board has just launched a major new plan to help our region prepare for climate change. As your landlord, we are using this research to make sure we are doing everything we can to look after you and your community.
Why does this matter to you?
We want to ensure that whatever the weather does, your day-to-day life is disrupted as little as possible. By using this new regional plan, we are focusing on three main areas that matter most to you:
We are using the latest data to identify areas across Bridgend and Rhondda Cynon Taf that are most at risk of flooding, allowing us to plan and better protect our homes and estates.
When severe weather hits, it can impact local power lines, water supplies, and roads. We are working with utility companies and councils to help ensure that vital services keep running, and that our maintenance teams can always reach you if you need an emergency repair.
Our region has a proud industrial history, but older landscapes and tips can be affected by heavy rainfall. We are part of a dedicated team keeping a close eye on these areas so our communities remain secure for generations to come.
What happens next?
You don’t need to do a thing. We are already busy building these insights into our everyday work, from how we maintain your homes to how we plan new ones.
