We’ve worked with various partners to increase wildlife and biodiversity across Bridgend. From meadow pilot projects, no-mow zones, to planting tiny forests.
- Woodland Trust
- Earthwatch Europe
- Bridgend Green Links Project
- Cwm Taf Nature Network
- Plantlife Cymru
With our £213,000 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’ve planted two tiny forests and three community growing gardens in the past year, benefiting both people and the planet! While our tiny forests are improving carbon capture and boosting biodiversity, the gardens are bringing residents together to grow healthy food for their families. We’ll be moving onto phase 2 of the project soon – stay tuned!
