We’re excited to get to work on delivering 12 one bed apartments and 9 houses (ranging from two to four beds), all to be offered at social rent!
We know affordable housing is in high demand, so we’re proud to be working with P&P builders to provide homes for individuals, couples and families in Kenfig Hill.

Homes that benefit people and the planet
The development will be part-funded by the Welsh Government’s social housing grant, with a key focus on sustainability.
For example, the homes will be built using modern methods of construction, including pre-assembled timber frames, and equipped with air source heat pumps and solar panels. These features will reduce the carbon footprint of the project and lower energy bills for future customers.
A well-connected community
The homes will be located in a top spot, with future residents able to enjoy:
- Easy access to schools and shops
- Close proximity to Pyle train station
- Active cycle routes to Tondu
We’ll also contribute £13,500 in community benefits to support local initiatives, ensuring the impact of the project extends to the wider community.
“Everyone deserves a place to call home”
Rob Green, Director of Growth and Partnerships said:
“Everyone deserves a place to call home, so we’re pleased to be giving more families and individuals the chance to put down roots.
“We know there’s a shortage of housing in Wales, so we’re proud to be delivering 21 affordable and environmentally-friendly homes on our doorstep, alleviating housing needs.”
Construction is due to begin soon, with the first homes expected to be ready by late 2027. We’re excited to keep you updated as the building work progresses!
