We’re proud to win the South Wales Police Partnership Award!

Alongside the Community Safety Partnership, we’ve been recognised for oureffective collaboration with local agencies, bringing the right people together around a common vision to reduce crime and disorder in our community.

The impact of our partnership work is clear: Since November 2023, our Community Housing Team has worked closely with South Wales Police to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminality in Wildmill.

Through regular meetings, information sharing, and joint visits to the estate, we’ve put the right support in place for residents and taken action to reduce ASB, making the area safer for everyone living there.

Lianne Burford, Head of Housing said “I’m proud to say that since the partnership began, South Wales Police have reported a 62% reduction in ASB and criminality – a remarkable result that really highlights the dedication and commitment of our Community Housing Team. They’ve gone above and beyond to make long-term positive changes for customers, and this award is a testament to their hard work.”

A lasting impact

This recognition isn’t just about the award itself; it’s about what we can achieve when we collaborate, share expertise, and put communities at the heart of what we do.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and are committed to continue building safer, stronger communities together.
