We held an information event about our redevelopment plans for Wyndham House last week! Here are the highlights…
Couldn’t make it? We’ll catch you up!
The Mayor of Bridgend, councillors, business owners, and customers joined us to discuss our upcoming office move and its impact on the community.
Located in the heart of Bridgend, the redevelopment of Wyndham House will play a key role in the regeneration of the town centre.
Funded mostly by a combination of grants, Wyndham House will be transformed into a vibrant hub, featuring an office space, eight apartments and a number of commercial units to support local businesses.
The architect who drew up the plans was on hand to share more about the features and accessibility of the building, and our colleagues answered questions about partnership opportunities and community benefits.

By purchasing Wyndham House, we’re turning a rental cost into a valuable asset which increases our financial stability and our borrowing power. We know our homes need some love and care, so this extra funding will be invested directly back into repairing and improving our 6,000 homes across Bridgend.
”This will be massive for Bridgend!”
There was a real buzz in the room as people discussed how the redevelopment will help the town centre thrive.
But don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what our attendees said:
“This is going to be massive. The town is crying out for redevelopment, so this will be great for the town centre.” – local resident.
“It will be much easier for me to visit you in the new office as I catch the bus into town, and I find it difficult walking up the hills to the current office” – customer.
“I’m surprised you’re sharing this information so early on” – local resident.
“It’s good to have events like this so us tenants can make our points and have our voices heard. I want more events like this” – customer.
