Our goal is to make sure you – our customers – feel safe, heard, and supported. Through our Customer voice commitment, we’re getting to know you better and putting your voice at the heart of our decision making. So, we take to the streets regularly to meet you face-to-face, and enjoy a stroll and a chat.
Last month, we hosted a Walkabout Wednesday at Tudor Estate, Maesteg. Members of our Executive Team, alongside Huw Irranca-Davies MS/AS and colleagues from across our business, walked the estate, met residents, and heard firsthand what matters most to them.

What a walkabout!
- We logged four repairs.
- We listened to what people want cleared at our Love Your Streets event on 3rd December.
- Colleagues from Housing, Income, Engagement, and Home Ownership teams were out chatting and offering support.
- We collected four new sets of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) data, helping us better support our customers.
- We enjoyed sweet treats from Bakehouse Brew!

We’re always pleased to see local partners, councillors, and community organisations come along to our events – so whether you’re a customer or community member, you’re welcome at the below events! Just drop as an email at customervoice@v2c.org.uk so we know to expect you!
