We’re excited to share our plans to move to a new office at Wyndham House, in Bridgend town centre.
Not only will this create a better experience for you – our customers, it’s a major step forward in our mission to support the regeneration of the town and help our communities thrive.

Chosen with you in mind…
By moving to a central location with excellent public transport links, we’re making our office accessible to more of our customers and colleagues. This will make it easier for you to pop in and speak to us in person if you have a question or concern.
By purchasing Wyndham House, we’re turning a rental cost into a valuable asset which increases our financial stability and our borrowing power. We know our homes need some love and care, so this extra funding will be invested directly back into repairing and improving our 6,000 homes across Bridgend.
As our Group Chief Executive, Jo Oak, puts it:
“This is Valleys to Coast thinking differently, and doing differently, for the benefit of our customers and the borough.”
More than an average office!
Our vision is for Wyndham House to become a vibrant hub, featuring:
- A welcoming, café-style reception space where we can chat to you in comfort.
- Eight new one-bedroom apartments, bringing more high-quality homes into the town centre and connecting us with more customers.
- A number of commercial units to support local businesses and bring new energy to the area.

Our Group Chief Executive Jo Oak added:
“This isn’t just a new office for us, it’s a space where colleagues, customers and the wider community can connect, collaborate, and feel proud of the town centre once again. Within the next 18 months, we will have transformed the building, bringing 300 colleagues into the heart of Bridgend Town Centre.”

A team effort
We’re committed to supporting local businesses and will be consulting with them throughout this journey to make it as smooth as possible for everyone involved.
We’ll also be holding focus groups for you to attend to help us decide how the reception and cafe should look and feel.
Chris Elmore, MP for Bridgend and Porthcawl shares our excitement about the project. He said:
“This really is fantastic news for Valleys to Coast and our town centre as such a move will unleash the potential of Wyndham House. Not only will it house their 300 strong workforce, it will also provide commercial units for new businesses to thrive along with residential spaces.
“Ever since I was elected last year, I have beat the drum for town centre regeneration and I am very much looking forward to working with Valleys to Coast as the project progresses.”
Next steps
We’ll be accessing grants to cover the majority of the costs, and hope to be all moved in by early 2027!
